CHINA MANUFACTURING & BUYING APPLICATIONS

A global manufacturing hub. Find the buying application for your product.

RMB 34.7 trillion · Manufacturing value added

2025 manufacturing value added measures production scale, not industrial purchasing expenditure.

500,000+ · Industrial enterprises above designated size

2025 national count of industrial legal entities generally with annual main-business revenue of at least RMB 20 million. Not a factory count or a list of reachable buyers.

+11.8% · Equipment investment growth

2025 year-on-year growth in equipment and instrument purchases within fixed-asset investment excluding rural households. Covers multiple sectors, not import orders.

Sources: National Bureau of Statistics, 14th Five-Year Plan achievements report No. 10 (June 2026) and 2025 fixed-asset investment release (January 2026). Figures refer to 2025.

Identify a purchasing application within the supply chain

Assess equipment upgrades, automation and testing, MRO spares, specialist components and materials. Match the product to an industry, application and buying role, then validate the specific demand.

Make the product advantage clear to Chinese buyers

Use approved evidence to explain reliability, compatibility, lead time, service and total cost of ownership. Support labour-saving, productivity or downtime claims with product evidence rather than assumptions about every factory.

Global context: UNIDO’s Industrial Statistics Yearbook 2025 estimates China at 32.0% of global manufacturing value added in 2024 on its constant-price basis. This is production share, not import share. Manufacturing investment grew just 0.6% in 2025 (NBS); assess each segment separately.

Where China market entry gets stuck, and how we help

01

Buyers do not know your industrial brand

Make the application and product advantage understandable in Chinese. We scope technical content, approved case evidence, WeChat and industry PR. Deliverables are agreed content and publication records; PR can be purchased separately.

02

Enquiries do not reveal a real buying need

Focus campaigns on relevant companies, applications and purchasing roles. Use sales feedback or separately scoped L3 telephone checks to distinguish relevant requirements from unrelated contacts. Deliverables include enquiry classifications and campaign recommendations.

03

Local follow-up stalls after the first enquiry

Assess separately scoped L4 support after initial testing and qualification: authorised buyer communication, meetings and quotation coordination with next-action records. Your team retains technical, pricing, contract and delivery decisions.

04

A distributor list does not show partner fit

Assess L5 channel development against territory, product fit, technical support and service requirements. Research and contact potential partners, recording evidence, responses and gaps. Outreach does not guarantee a signed distribution agreement.

Select channels around the industrial buying task

01

Baidu: capture product and application searches

Use product, supplier and application intent, with exclusions reviewed against actual search terms. Reach people actively researching a relevant solution.

02

WeChat & industry media: support supplier evaluation

Use approved Chinese product content, company information and PR/media placements to support the buyer’s evaluation and follow-up.

03

Video & other paid channels: explain the application

Consider demonstrations and suitable audience campaigns when useful assets and an appropriate audience are available. Every platform is separately scoped.

Built for industrial buying decisions—not consumer clicks

01

Equipment, automation & instruments

Machinery, sensors, testing and measurement, automation and production equipment. Start with the Chinese industry and application where your performance or support offers a meaningful advantage.

02

Specialist components & industrial materials

Precision components, heating elements, electronics, specialist materials and OEM solutions. Explain application fit, specifications, supply capacity and local support—not only manufacturing capability.

03

International industrial brands & their agencies

For manufacturers selling into China and agencies supporting them. Coordinate Chinese brand communications, demand generation and agreed local commercial work while retaining your client relationships and approvals.

What makes an RFQ useful to your team?

01

Application & specification

Product or part, intended use, key specifications and drawings where appropriate.

02

Quantity & timing

Estimated order scale, sample or project stage and required delivery timing.

03

Company & next action

Buyer role, company fit and the next technical or commercial question to resolve.

Collect only essential information in the first enquiry. Your engineers and sales team approve technical commitments, pricing and delivery; further clarification belongs in follow-up.

OUR B2B EXECUTION METHOD · L1–L5 SERVICE SCOPES

From advertising to sales and channels: what each stage delivers

Reach relevant buyers through paid campaigns, then use enquiry quality and real feedback to decide whether local commercial support makes sense. L1–L5 describe service scopes, not a compulsory five-part package.

01 · Advertise & optimise

Choose L1 or L2

L1

Standard ad execution

Set up, manage and optimise campaigns on selected platforms, with agreed reporting.

L2

L2 · Professional management

Combine campaign work with industry information and lead-quality feedback supplied by your brand team or separately purchased L3 checks.

02 · Check lead quality

Add L3 when needed

L3

Human telephone qualification

Confirm the lead’s company and contact details, relevance of the requirement and initial intent. Hand over contact outcomes and lead-quality labels.

Lead-quality checks only: not ongoing sales follow-up, quotation negotiations or order chasing.

From USD 800 / month · agreed contact capacity

03 · Develop sales & channels

Assessed after campaign testing and L3 checks

L4

Local sales representation

Authorised buyer communication, meetings, quotation coordination and opportunity follow-up.

L5

Distributor, agent & channel development

Define channel criteria, research and contact potential partners, and coordinate introductions and follow-up.

Custom quote for industry, workload and authority

L2 replaces L1; the two are not charged together. Projects seeking L4 or L5 also start with L1 or L2 campaign testing, quality feedback and L3 lead checks. Further support depends on relevant demand, quotation acceptance, delivery feasibility and the resources both teams can commit.

Brand communications, PR, content and account operations remain separately scoped services. They can support a B2B campaign without committing your brand to a sales-follow-up programme.

CLEAR FEES

Choose the advertising support you need.

L1 · Standard ad execution

USD 800

per platform / month

Campaign preparation, agreed ad management, optimisation and reporting. Media funding is separate.

Professional ad management

USD 1,500

per platform / month

Campaign management with industry information and lead-quality feedback from your team or separately purchased L3 checks, applied to optimisation.

Advertising only: media funding is additional

Initial media funding per platform: from USD 1,500 for mainland-China entities; from USD 7,500 for entities registered outside mainland China. PPCOps offers are subject to eligibility and the confirmed account route.

Professional replaces Standard for the same platform and month. Neither plan includes human telephone qualification.

Three-month option & additional costs

Recommended, not mandatory: USD 12,000 for one platform over three months. USD 7,500 media funding + USD 4,500 Professional management (3 × USD 1,500). Optional human support and other quoted costs are additional.

Standalone account setup starts at USD 300; the setup service fee may be waived with agreed media funding and management or other services. Translation, certification and other actual third-party costs are confirmed separately. Basic Chinese landing-page support depends on scope; complex custom work starts from USD 800.

Multi-platform discounts can be discussed. Deliverables, revisions, external costs and media balance arrangements are confirmed in the quote and contract.

Content and communications, scoped to your needs

PR / media publishing from USD 500. Chinese content, account operations and custom production are quoted by scope. L3 telephone checks start at USD 800 / month with agreed capacity. L4 / L5 are quoted for the industry, workload and authority, separately from ad management.

Measure delivery, enquiry quality and commercial progress separately

01

Relevant enquiries

Separate business buyers from unrelated, incomplete or consumer requests. Report what was received, not an assumed sales opportunity.

02

RFQs and quotations

Use your sales feedback to record usable requirements, quotation status and reasons for mismatch. A contact click is not an RFQ.

03

Commercial progress

Review quotation acceptance, delivery feasibility and completed orders before expanding the scope. Marketing cannot guarantee purchase orders.

Our industrial marketing method: use buyer feedback to guide the next step

01

Define the buyer and purchasing task

Select industries, applications, company types, engineering or procurement roles and serviceable regions. Agree a buyer brief and exclusions.

02

Prepare Chinese product communications

Turn approved specifications, application evidence and service terms into landing content, keywords and creative that help buyers evaluate your offer.

03

Select channels and launch a test

Choose search advertising, industry content or other suitable channels around the buying task. Test within agreed platforms and budgets.

04

Generate and capture enquiries

Collect responses through forms, email, phone or agreed contact channels. Separate contact clicks and submissions from purchasing requirements, recording available source data.

05

Assess fit and quotation readiness

Use your sales team’s feedback or separately purchased human checks to confirm company, role, application, quantity and timing. Mark unknowns for follow-up.

06

Optimize with commercial feedback

Review relevance, quotation progress and reasons for stalled enquiries to refine keywords, pages, creative and spend, beyond clicks and form counts.

07

Choose sales and channel support

Assess direct sales, distributors, agents or local sales support using the findings. Extra outreach, meetings and quotation coordination require a separate scope.

Select stages to match the agreed scope. Your team owns technical approval, final quotations, contracts and delivery. PPCOps provides agreed local marketing and coordination without guaranteeing sales.

Questions before you start

Do you support every manufacturing business?

We assess the product, application, target buyer and service capacity first. A clear industrial category does not by itself establish demand or an acceptable acquisition cost.

Can you help us find distributors as well?

Yes, as a separately assessed service. Campaign testing and lead-quality checks provide the groundwork; authorised local sales and channel work are scoped separately.

Who prepares drawings, technical answers and quotes?

Your team provides and approves the technical information, commercial terms and delivery commitments. PPCOps supports marketing and agreed coordination—not engineering certification.

Are leads or orders guaranteed?

No. We report delivery and observed responses. Relevant enquiries, quotations and paid orders are different stages and depend on both the campaign and your commercial offer.

How do we assess demand for our industrial product in China?

Start with the application, target industry, buyer role and serviceable region. Compare local alternatives, Chinese search intent, price and support requirements, then test a focused offer. National manufacturing statistics alone do not establish demand for your product.

Should we build the brand or generate leads first?

The priorities can work together: a clear Chinese product story and credible supporting information help buyers evaluate you, while focused campaigns test demand. Content and PR can be scoped independently; the mix depends on market readiness and your commercial objective.

What counts as a qualified industrial lead?

Agree the criteria before launch: relevant company and contact, a matching application or product need, purchasing role and an actionable next step. A form submission alone is not qualified. Record quotation-stage opportunities separately from early enquiries and completed sales.

Can we start without a full China sales team?

We can scope marketing execution with your existing team, but you still need an owner for technical replies, quotations and delivery. After initial testing and qualification, L4 local sales support may be assessed separately; it is not included in monthly ad management.

How should we budget for the first campaign?

Current ad management is USD 800 per platform per month for L1, or USD 1,500 for L2; L2 replaces L1. Media funding, content, landing-page work and any human follow-up are separate. Agree the platform, account route and test scope before confirming the total.

What should we send before requesting a proposal?

Share the product website, technical information, intended application, buyer profile, China activity to date, service and delivery capacity, budget and timing. Tell us whether your priority is brand building, qualified leads, sales representation or distributor recruitment.

LET’S DISCUSS YOUR PROJECT
